The Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2013 has grown to be one of the Philippines’ most spectacular cultural festivals, a showcase of the rich heritage, colorful history, passionate devotion, and fun-loving spirit of Ilonggos. The festival traces its roots as a religious thanksgiving celebration in honor of Senyor Santo Niño, the child Jesus.
During the Dinagyang Festival held every fourth weekend of January, city streets of Iloilo, Philippines are filled with tens of thousands of tourists and local revelers.
